Basically, the air trapped between the panes does the insulating. Air is a relatively poor thermal conductor so it slows the passage of heat from one side of the window to another.ronaldniksanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04545505143143710549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-60642415814141260972012-04-09T10:08:19.356-04:002012-04-09T10:08:19.356-04:00lucky for you to live in such a charming old house...lucky for you to live in such a charming old house! Thank you for your precious comment. I ...Hey Kat! Thank you for your precious comment. I so value your opinion. According to God's Word to be accepted into His kingdom we absolutely have to have faith as a little child, with the wonder, and belief. Otherwise we won't make it. I love the picture of your windows. However, I found out I like them on other peoples houses but not on mine. We rent and the windows in our house are double paned. I can't for the life of me figure out how to clean the inside. I've been told it's not possible. We have (and it's been this way since we moved in,) dust bunnies or cobwebs in between the panes. They look AWFUL. If you know of a way to separate them so they can be cleaned, please let me know. OK?

God Bless,
PJPJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02807442587587976098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-6237274357392928582012-02-24T15:10:10.496-05:002012-02-24T15:10:10.496-05:00Windows look wonderful ~ besides being functional ...Windows look wonderful ~ besides being functional ~ have your button that I am going to put back on my blog ~ come by again and 'share a cup o tea' ~ enjoy the weekend ~ namaste, carol ^_^carol l mckennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06151914466378663660noreply@blogger.com
