If I am making a bigger casserole, I would add another jar.katlupehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09159828606045286858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-34205005013438135712013-08-21T10:13:36.169-04:002013-08-21T10:13:36.169-04:00When using canned squash, how many quart jars do y...When using canned squash, how many quart jars do you use?
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11102394296221041328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-77247439970911262272011-07-03T10:08:11.537-04:002011-07-03T10:08:11.537-04:00Looks great. We got like 6 or 8 squash. That didn't really bother me though. I really don't care much for squash except for "crispy fried" same way with okra. My hubby likes it stewed once in a while, but that's all. I do love it fried though with LOTS of Ranch dressing to dip it in. LOL! It did look good though.

God Bless!
PJPJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02807442587587976098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-37540582536166452272010-09-25T16:01:13.602-04:002010-09-25T16:01:13.602-04:00That squash caserole looks fabulous. I'll definitely be saving this recipe for future reference.

I love the idea of cooking it on an open fire, especially given that it's been entirely too hot here to cook indoors.

We're working our way toward simplicity and will eventually move our homestead to a bit of land in Missouri. Right now, we're in a suburban location here in NY, near Ft Drum... Might have to acquire a fire pit and see what I can do with that. ;-)Dawnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17580851130164501868noreply@blogger.com
