Around here, we see many many trucks drive around all Winter the the plow blade attached at the front.

We still need to finish getting the wood into the Wood Room for this coming Winter. It is half full from trees split last year. But we like to have the room fully loaded, just in case. We feel it is better to think and plan ahead so that if unforeseen things happen, we know what is already done! Besides, the wood needs drying time and this is one way to achieve that early in the year.

Kat, I LOVE that second picture, the firepit one. Simply gorgeous!!Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11830022165659654262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-79674518798588392262011-05-30T09:53:03.445-04:002011-05-30T09:53:03.445-04:00As long as you are aware of the need to prepare yo...As long as you are aware of the need to prepare you are ahead of the others. I hope to inspire people of all walks of life to prepare. Thinking it won't happen to me is the wrong attitude!

Washing laundry by hand isn't as bad as it sounds. I do it outside in the summer and right beside my clothesline. Listening to the birds singing, it is quite relaxing for me. But soon, it will be over. And it was worth the sacrifice.katlupehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09159828606045286858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-2004963641250981292011-05-29T23:00:50.801-04:002011-05-29T23:00:50.801-04:00You are amazing! Maybe they would wear them more than once!

I like to stock a good pantry for the winter, too - for those snowed-in days!

Your cat looks just like mine:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13791174.post-8044403463673525812011-05-28T08:50:18.313-04:002011-05-28T08:50:18.313-04:00I am not yet long enough in the country. Besides of that I try to figure how I am gonna deal with certain tasks when he is in Afghanistan. Means Winter alone in a country not well known to me. And like you laying in a good pantry so we don't have to trek out to the store even though it's just 9 blocks away.pelenakahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09486662453316027558noreply@blogger.com
