A beautiful day up here yesterday!
Yesterday, my husband and I went to the Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City, NY to visit my parents' grave. I needed to check if the cemetery had put the veteran's plaque on the back of the headstone yet. They hadn't gotten to it yet. The ground was still soft on my father's side of the grave site. My father had put my mother on the same side she slept on in their bed, when he arranged her burial in 2002. I still have not had his date of death added to the stone, but will have it added in the spring.
Their stone is in the middle of the two trees
